Been gone a while--preparing to move. I'm having to do this while receiving not one penny required to help me move.  Mad

My son, Jonathan has autism, with a mild case of ADHD. The two tend to feed each other, according to his Social Worker. So, now I am working around this knowledge, trying to make the best of the situation.

Just remember at the end of the day it is only a label and hopefully now you have the diagnosis it will open some doors to services and real help for you and Jonathan.

Hi Griifin.... moving house.... phew girl get a glass of wine quick!

I guess it's not appropriate to say "congratulations" but I agree with Gavin... it's just a label and can hopefully open the doors that you need to get the support and appropriate education your boy needs.

Get researching and make yourself as knowledgeable as the "experts" - it's a very empowering position to be in... take no shit and aim for the highest...

Best of Luck

xx Miss Daisy xx
